cause for celebration

I had an idea for a children's book earlier but scratched the whole idea cause it related too closely to death. went something like:

page1- One day,
page2-You'll want to sleep and never wake up again.
page3-To finally wake up and never sleep again.

I wanna write atleast one book in my entire life but I never said what kind of book. I won't do like the one above cause that's crap and I was just kidding about it (-saving my own face there). I think People underestimate the effort that goes into writing a Children's Book. The complexity of Beatrix Potter's books are proof enough. I dont know if it was just me but I had a hard time understanding the stories even after reading it a few times. I know Peter Rabbit likes to eat radish and goes around stealing them once in a while but that's about it. Or was it because the books I had were too small and the fonts were too fine that I lost interest at the first page? Probably. Spare me the the Jeffrey Archers cos a) am incapable of any imaginative, interesting and ORIGINAL thought b) (consequently) I'll bore myself doing it.



On second thoughts...was Beatrix complex? Or was it just me? It's just me isn't it? Damnit.
