displays of Aggression
i chose to delete the previous post cause somehow it made me feel uneasy to have it there. don't know why, it was just drivel but it helped confirm the fact that i spend most of my time thinking of mindless, cretinous, moronic, witless, imbecilic, idiotic, senseless, unbeneficial things.
went to Brunswick yesterday for halal meat (-feinally) and library today to get the EAP books for oral presentation. I was deciding between the topic of Hello Kitty and Aggression but settled with aggression in the end. Ok, went with sha to borrow the books but turned out almost all the books were already borrowed out and were not due until middle of next month. THEY WIPED EVERYTHING CLEAN. Kept on searching just in case, and thankfully i found an older edition of the book i wanted on the catalogue, which will do in this case. Can i just say Baillieu is relatively huge and just finding one book can be painstaking, its ridiculous. I asked this library dude who was sorting the books in the library where this particular book was cause i really couldn't find it. He looked at the catalogue number, went to shelf, and went "Its right here, Where were you looking?! I can see it right here straightaway! It's right there" in that demeaning tone of his. Dont know what the hell his problem was, spoiled my day. In my defense, the book is small and has a dull black colour which doesn't invite the eye to easily pick it out from a whole section of colourful, more interestingly designed books. And the catalogue is fuckin whacked.
my sister borrowed season 1 and 2 of nip/tuck from her friend which is going to greatly extend my marathon days and encourage me metamorphosing into a couch myself. I just sit in front of the goddamn TV for hours. I dont know, to me, the show doesn't deliver. I had high expectations for it, everyone was raving about it, but the show is just...the script is weak and trite, the supporting actors are mediocre, the storyline is again, weak. Dont think I'll go through watching every episode. To damn it with praise I'll just say in terms of soap dramas, it's up there in the list.
Or it's probably not fair cause i'm comparing it to 24, the best drama series in my mind, for now. (mm Almeida)
