Finished reading Everything is Illuminated by JSafranF, which is one of the better books I've read in this holiday period. The character Alex writes pretty funny things but it can get tiring after some time, but Jonathan, the character, does his part brilliantly in the book and I still can't get past the chapter titled 'Illumination' close to the end. How does he do it. and all that 613 kinds of sadness, I wish I'd written it.

then I went on to The Great Gatsby by FScottF because I have a tendency to alternate between contemporary and classic books just so the whole concept of reading doesn't get tiring. I can't stand reading classics one after the other for too long, and same goes for the modern books, and so they balance each other pretty well, I think.

the tickets for 18 Feb, Sunday are all fully booked and so its a no to extension of KL stay. I'd have killed for it, but I'm also at the same time completely indifferent to it.

The Catcher in the Rye by JDSlngr-best book I've read so far. The way its written, and the way it doesn't seem to have a real purpose or sense of direction, and the 'phoneys' and 'sores' and 'goddams, and 'princes'...
