Quotes
Attempt at studying at the library only left me feeling riled up after the two girls sitting next to me suddenly felt the need to go on an incessant chatter, lasting an hour or more (whoops, that's slightly oxymoronic). Simply couldn't stop talking, and I realise it must be nice to have empty conversations once in a while but goddamn IF YOU REALLY MUST then the door's right there and the last I checked these chairs had surfaces free of superglue material.
Those little quotes in Talley & O'Connor's are pretty neat.
(On the cardiovascular system)
"The heart...moves of itself and does not stop unless for ever."
Leonardo da Vinci
(On the respiratory system)
"A medical chest specialist is long-winded about the short-winded."
Kenneth T Bird
And
“We don’t believe in rheumatism or true love until we have been attacked by them.”
