Off day.

..more like off week.

How weird is it to think that you could ever run out of things to say to someone? The feeling that everything that needs to be said has been said, even if its not true, and asking something would only elicit an answer you would have anticipated in the first place. Conversations become filled with record-long silences, the only form of small talk comes in the most banal of questions. These are awkward times.

Here's my golden rule this time round: 'Don't ever say things that you can't repeat.' A guy said that once, and it may be the best advice I've come across. Its easy to make off-handed remarks and caustic comments, especially in jest, but there's always that off chance that someone might take offence. Being funny is not all that worth it, not when you haven't taken the time to evaluate the situation.

That's not to say I don't commit verbal gaffes every once in a while, in fact I'm pretty sure I have 'frontrunner status' in matters involving faux pas but hey, I am trying.

MCQs are next week and I don't think anyone's deluding themselves into thinking that because its multiple choice they don't have to study as much. I'm trying to find time to study but writing up posts is evidently a bigger priority.

Thats my cue.

ps.
good news: Badawi leaving by March 09.
bad news: KJ likely to win UMNO Youth chief post? what?
