galway-

"what a curious little street."

Despite being a Million Percent sure that I was gonna be miserable and pouty here, I have to now take it back and say its not all that bad. Its actually a solid ok. that said, its only been a week, so..premature judgment, yes? yes.

I'm actually, whats the word..........dumbfounded....no, wait...Astounded at how nice everyone is here, compared to Melbourne, KL, everywhere else. Be it the Irish, the Malaysians. The minute we got here, Zool, the sort of student rep, one of the nicest person, helped us with everything. As in, sending us (my parents and I) wherever we needed and wanted to go, at anytime of the day in his car, and just making sure everything was settled and that we were Ok. I have no idea what we would have done without him, completely lost I'd imagine, so thanks and thanks and...it goes on and on.

My parents left last Saturday. Since then, there's been this hectic schedule of school and gatherings. It is, I have to say, the timetable from hell. 9-5, some days. and the weather is a pain in the neck. Apparently, it'll only get worse. yeesh and yikes. Also, one million thank you's to those who invited us to your buka puasa gatherings. tomyam la, nasi ayam la, lasagna. :) penat penat je.

Conclusion, the place is relatively small that everyone takes the time to know everyone here. Thats not such a bad thing is it? And, I've noticed I say 'a million' a lot. Its a pretty damn cliche thing to say but what the hey.

the orange bag is my schoolbag. to this day, my dad still carries it for me.

haha, Melb was initially -1 for the minor racism. by minor, I mean 50% of the population. but Melb is unbelievably covenient compared to here. In terms of TV content both are equally good but the remote control for the TV here Does Not work (low battery ke apa) and the one in Melb does. so advantage Melb, I think. heh. david and margaret? yeah, probably not. ha.
