manic

i'm not seeing things clearly, both literally and figuratively. the thing with the former is that i've been straining my eyes playing minesweeper/freecell/solitaire on the computer because it helps take my mind off things i'd rather not think about at this moment in time. also, highscores make me feel good as they make me feel more worthy of a person. pathetic, but fuck you for feeling sorry for me.

the word manic, when thesaurusized (word doesnt really exist, only maybe in the beck-tionary as featured in Futurama) gives words like deranged, demented, mad, insane, lunatic, double-lunatic(not really), raving etc. which i found weird because i thought it was a word to decribe a subdued form of lunacy, but apparently not. it might very well be the mother of all words to describe craziness. manic.

I was looking up manic-depression (hence thesaurusization of said word) out of sheer curiosity. ok, so you tell someone they are experiencing manic-depression i.e. telling them that not only do they suffer from feelings of worthlessness and emptiness but they're also demented and deranged. so, ok, crazy and depressive. if i was the patient i wouldnt know how to react to that. -Exclaim out loud that the psychiatrist is in fact the crazy one and storm off but return next day because of consuming guilt and desperation for said psychiatrist's acceptance.

of course there's another word for it-bipolar disorder, but the term, apart from being jargon, is unrelatable and most importantly, unimpressive.

enough drivel.

looking out for Interpol. i'm hearing its good.

this never ceases to amuse me

Airline Captain: "Uh, everyone, please strap yourselves in, as we are experiencing a little Godzilla-related turbulence. It doesn't look too bad though. He usually lets go at about 30,000 feet, and, after that, we'll just have to worry about Moth-Ra, Ged-Ra and Rodan.
