"it was the clumsiest."
Weekend was pretty amazing. How could it not be, Monday to Thursday was Hellish, to say the least. Went down to Dublin on Friday. Woke up real early to catch the 8am bus because we like to torture ourselves with sleep deprivation this way. But it was all good cause we arrived early and had plenty of rest time before the 'Dublin Gig' at RCSI that night.
Gig.
this one band performed 'your body is wonderland' and towards the end they translated the lyrics into Malay, chorus and verse. and it was, hilarious. he sings 'your body is sangat lawa.'
The real reason we went was for Futsal Tournament, down at University College Dublin. Girls' and boys' teams from all over Ireland (and UK) competing for bragging rights. 7 teams of girls and having never played in a real tournament and armed with close to zero training, we thought we were pretty much screwed. But, like a fucking good movie, we got a medal in the end. A bronze one, but a medal nonetheless. I couldn't have been more proud. Bangga gila k. All credit must must go to the 8 players, they played like they've done it one thousand times, and so one huge pat on the back, and then one more. Kak Farah is superhuman, she scored like what, more than 10 goals? Don't ask me how many times I fell on the field, you wouldn't have enough fingers to count. fucking embarassing, I say.
Next day; Raya celebration at Malaysian Hall, which we turned up really late for because we got caught up at the city, and then got lost finding our way there. Food was good.
I stayed at Aunty Lela's during the entire time and I can't thank her enough. So accomodating, and helped with so much so thank you one million times. It is honestly the loveliest, neatest house I've ever stepped foot in, I was scared of bringing in the tiniest speck of dirt into it. It kinda inspired me to clean my room abit, do a major spring cleaning. But I'll do that later, my procrastinatory nature overwhelms me.
..
He confuses me.
(I don't get it.)
And I try so hard to be indifferent.
