power of repetition

exhausting day.
or not, I'm probably not used to coming home at 5. but finishing uni at 5 bites.
had the 8 am lecture at the Economics building, one of the more comfortable lecture halls around campus. but why 8? you can be physically awake at 8 but surely your brain, stomach and spleen are still sleeping.

but the lecturer was mildly funny which would have compensated for the early class except that he kept promoting his book to the class which got pretty annoying but evidently not to the medical students. apparently, after the class a whole bunch of them went out to get his book. and there it was the power of repetition i.e. brainwashing. or it could probably be that it was a genuinely good book, i don't know.

then, clinical placement in Williamstown. after a confusing start at the train station, finally met jane, steve and crystal at Footscray train station and from there went on to Western Hospital for student card. Ran back to Footscray and took a train (we had to run to be in time for the train) to the clinic in Williamstown. the rehab centre is just a small section of the hosp with a lot old people. went with jane to interview a patient, and jane was on fire with all these good questions and amazng empathy-skills while i just sort of blanked out a lot. the direction of the whole thing was really unclear. but we got sufficient information in the end and it turned out ok. After everything was done, ran back to the train station in Williamstown and finally got home.

Alot of people like to comment on how I always look tired. So much so that I've lost count. I'm not tired, thats just the way I look.
so basically when i'm genuinely tired, i just look doubly tired/tired times two.
