Much like sudoku where you are required to fill in the boxes with numbers without repeating them in the same row or column. The difference here is that the game involves actual calculations rather than simply allocating numbers. Rules are slightly more complex, which makes for a better play than Sudoku although I doubt it'll ever get to that same level of hype and craze Sudoku managed to achieve over so many different countries.
Tutorial from its website, a 3x3.
Addition is the most basic. Beginners could probably start off with a 4x4 with all addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
Looks abit like this.
A 4x4 box will only involve numbers 1-4, 5x5 box are 1-5, 6x6 are 1-6 and so on.
The 8x in the topmost left box simply means what two numbers when multiplied will give the number 8? So the numbers in the heavily outlined boxes must be 4 and 2, although the position can't yet be determined.
The official website makes for good further clarification.
Am being a nerdd, I knoww I know.
