Mindy Kaling is A-maaaazing.

Wasn't a big fan of the US version when it first came out. I thought it was trying way too hard to stay true to the UK version and didn't really know what they wanted out of it, which I think was a fair assessment at the time. The first episode was a direct copy of the British version. They've only gotten better now, I think the writers are up there in terms of quality; BJ Novak, Paul Lieberstein and others I can't quite remember. Some episodes are better than others, and there'll be times when you watch a scene meant to be funny but you end up going "Yea, that didn't quite cut it". And then out of nowhere comes a line so funny and ridiculous, its Fun-diculous, so you sit back and realise that maybe this is worth it.
