everything comedy.

I can't quite make out what to write and what to leave out so here's my being selective. Firstly, most importantly,

1. Michael Cera (I know it, I keep plugging him) will star in Harold Ramis' YEAR ONE alongside Jack Black. They've finished filming the movie and are now working on the post-production (wow thanks IMDB).

"When a couple of lazy hunter-gatherers (Black and Cera) are banished from their primitive village, they set off on an epic journey through the ancient world."-IMDB

There's probably a better synopsis for this movie elsewhere but I like the brevity, it exudes a sort of laziness which agrees with me. Once I summarized 'Superbad' as "just two boys getting drunk and getting in trouble...with cops" and 'The Kite Runner' as "just two boys..playing kites" which, let's face it, were way off tangent from what the movies were really abt. Back to Year One, the premise seems funny enough, I find that the more simple and straightforward it is the better. And what's not to like abt hunter-gatherers? Expect it to be out in cinemas next year. That's 2009 for Americans, and twothousandnever for everyone else.

Saw the trailer for 'Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist' in which Cera is starring as well. The part where he says 'B-Day' is hilarious but I'm not particularly excited abt this movie only because the whole thing looks abit contrived and like everyone else I'm slightly tired of seeing Cera typecasted into those same roles in which he plays an awkward teenager.

2. Also look out for Ghost Town which stars Ricky Gervais. I think I've mentioned the movie here before but I am big on repetition so here's me talking abt it again. He didn't write the script, unfortunately, but having him playing the main character warrants a viewing anyway. It looks to be good, judging from the trailer.

3. Speaking of him, the podcasts (Ricky Gervais Show) are still very much alive and ongoing and I got a chance to listen to the new stuff after stealing them from my sister's laptop. They're still as funny as ever, Karl is still full of drivel and Ricky can't get enough of it. Hysterical, I get afraid of listening to it in public.

That's it for now. I basically talked abt Cera And Gervais and nothing else, which wasn't the plan but my mind's less scrambled now, so some good must have come from it.
