Looking out for Gonzo but his play has been mediocre since getting into the finals at the 2006 Australian Open. He's been absent from a few Grand Slams prior to this, a case of simply not cutting it. Good to see he's made it to the quarterfinals this year, but he's lost to Federer as of minutes ago in a 4-set match. Nadal's the one to beat but I have a feeling he won't make it all the way this time despite his strong performances so far.



Gonzo's racket, and what became of it after it was mercilessly slammed onto the ground following lost of a point to Federer. Received a warning for 'racket abuse'. So apparently he hates losing.

Safina-Dementieva match was the one to watch. Just when everyone thought Safina was done for, what with her opponent at match point, she turns everything around and gives it her all to eventually win the match at 6-4, 7-6, 6-0. Amazing.
