snow. oh you heard right.
"a freight train running through the middle of my head.."
Woke up to snow this morning. It was light though, and lasted only for a while. I don't usually deal well with morning classes but waking up to this was worth it maybe, so I call it fair trade. Made me less cranky in other words. Stared out the window for a good minute watching specks of ice tumble their way down clumsily onto the barren ground. There it stayed true to form for a second and then melted away, leaving nothing but pools of water on uneven surfaces. Except for the thin sheet of ice that blanketed almost every car on the road, no one would have known it snowed, not here anyway.
And with snow comes the unforgiving temperature.
Its cold, and I'm left shivering uncontrollably as I walk to class, cringing and making faces as if to say I was dealing with a serious physical problem, as if the act would make the air surrounding me any more warmer. It didn't.
Oh, and the reason I sound so monotonous is because I just finished watching Sin City. Brilliant movie, but it has that effect on people.
