losing sight
I may have lost sight of what my parents are putting out there in order for me to continue studying. It gets mentioned every now and again and I feel Absolutely guilty. Its like receiving a car on your 16th birthday from a friend you barely know. hold on, analogy is not feeling right. point is, its something that makes u go "I can't take this". (and they go "no u must, I insist." and you go "no really, keep it for yourself". and they go-wait, i'll do this properly. i hate writing 'and they go...and i go...')
And they go : Its yours, really. do WHATEVER u want with it.
And I go : I can't take this, really.
And they go : Why not?
And I go : Well for one its a fuckin jaguar. excuse my french. keep it.
And they go : Alright, I'll give it to someone else...then.
And I go : Well......I didn't say....
And they go : What?
And I go : Well.. yea you could....or you could keep it...or..sell it. Also, they might not take it anyway.....if you were to give it....away.
And they go : Ha ha, yea I bet it'll be hard to find people who'd want it for free. Last chance. DO YOU want it?
And I go : Uhhh...
And they go : I'm counting to 5. 1, 2, 3
And I go : Yep, alright. If you really want me to have it, I guess I don't really have a choice.
And they go : Well no you don't HAVE to take it if you don't want to.
And I go : No its ok, i'll take it. Might as well. Thanks btw.
And they go : You should have just said 'yes' at the beginning you know.
And I go : Yea I know.
I don't know what my point is anymore. I got carried away. I've got too much time on my hands.
