i dont know what to say abt the week except i know that i've done atleast one thing that i can be proud of since coming back which will last me til mid feb. really, v. proud, although i cant say what it is and i'm not sure if the effect is long lasting. its depressing all the same in a weird way but if i dont think abt it too much then its ok.

i feel like erasing this blog permanently everytime i open the page. i dont like what i write, but i like writing and its the kind of dilemma you'd find in a child's brain. jeez. they go "you know what, this candy tastes like crap but there's a toy inside the box that i'd like to get my hands on which will satisfy me for only 2 seconds, but satisfy all the same, and i think i should get it but the candy is repulsive and now i cant decide." this is NOT analogous to the point i was trying to make earlier but i wanted to mention that all kids do end up buying that candy because they have no value for money. dont know where this is going.

i found this v. nice phrase-supercilious taciturnity. i think it means not saying much in the presence of others in a way that is unfriendly. i come across as being that a lot. i dont mean to be unfriendly though, i just dont have anything to say.
