24 and some others.

24 season 6 is out but i can't seem to get any of the 4 released episodes. i'll probably wait until i finish season 5 though. it gets better with every season, or so i hear. right, so thats all i've been doing, running 24 marathons. (note: kiefer is insanely good)

that, or the occassional shopping that happens when we get bored out of our minds at home and we go for the sake of it. which is not a bad thing at all. i was guilt-stricken a week back for some unneccessary spending i did but all that dissolved very quickly (which is regrettable, really). got a cardigan which looked fuckin gorgeous on display (and would presumably look even better if it was on a mannequin but highly debatable when put on self-mm, doesnt matter, cant refund it). and the harmony silk factory by tash aw. it's abt time, that book always escapes my eye everytime i'm in the bookstore and i end up buying something else. he writes pretty well (assesment is very premature-have only read first page).

but i'll probably revert back to charlotte bronte's novels after this just cos its been awhile. i'm starting to be able to comprehend the Yorkshire language (not really) and have an insight into the way people carried themselves during that period (not really). the thing that gets to me with these books is how the characters can be so amazingly rude sometimes but still know how to underplay it. the dad's rude, the daughter's rude, the servants especially. it's great.
